Important update on the discontinued Kantech wireless fobs and transmitters.
There is still a good deal that is unknown yet from the provided literature we can determine that the new system is not backward compatible and will not support the older platform.

Kantech Wireless Receiver/Transmitters

Kantech Corp. has not formally announce the release of the new product line to replace the discontinued WLS series of products. There are indications that a new receiver/transmitter platform will be release late in the 4th quarter of 2025. We would not expect these to become available till the spring of 2026 . What is known is that that the transmitter (portables) will not be compatible between platforms. Any new purchase of the newer type of transmitter(fob) will require a replacement of the receiver unit and antennae. We don't anticipate an easy roll out as support and the on-site replacement...

Les projections de novembre sur les retards de livraison des produits Kantech montrent que les délais ne se sont pas améliorés. À l’approche du Black Friday et du Cyber Monday, il est probable que ces délais soient repoussés à la nouvelle année. Les cartes P10SHL ainsi que de nombreuses autres cartes d'accès tierces fabriquées en Asie sont en rupture de stock. Ashton Security Inc. a réussi à sécuriser un grand nombre de clés P40Key (porte-clés) pour aider à enrayer cette pénurie. À l'heure actuelle, nous n'avons pas été informés des dernières prévisions de livraison pour bon nombre de ces produits....
